End of Facebook Live Streaming? Facebook admits it can not control Facebook Live

Facebook live streaming is in hot waters after Christchurch brutal terrorist attack at the mosque that killed fifty innocent Muslims offering Friday prayers. I wrote an article few hours after the incident voicing my opinion that Facebook Live Stream should be a facility for verified profiles and closed groups only.

NewZealand sought answers from Facebook over livestreamed massacre and now after a lot of pressure, Facebook admits, it can not control Facebook live. There is too much content in general to train A.I (artificial intelligence) to control a certain content. Relying on online users to report an inappropriate content is clearly not the solution now as the incident in NewZealand was live streamed for 20 minutes and no one reported it.

Although Christchurch incident has raised the awareness about the issues with the live stream, there have been many unfortunate incidents streamed live in the past such as suicide, and violence on the platform as well.

Facebook Live issue has taken the content regulation to all together a different new level. I still believe, stopping live stream for everybody is not an answer instead, Facebook live should be a privilege for few only.
