Business chat by Apple, shopping included into iMessage

With an aim to turn its iMessage, Apple has introduced its Business Chat. This has been created in order to compete with the Facebook Messenger. At the Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, the company unveiled this service with an update to its developer site.

The business chat introduced by Apple is considered to be a part of the iOS 11 which will enable users to open an iMessage window from Apple’s Spotlight, Siri, Map, and Safari and start a conversation with businesses. Basic texts will be included in the conversation but the company will also provide support and structure for some of the complicated interactions such as scheduling an appointment. For the iMessage’s App Store, this service is a great opportunity as it will allow businesses to include some of their capabilities with a conversation.

Apple’s business chat is considered to be integrated with other customer service products which will make it’s easier for businesses to manage their Business Chat conversations. According to the reports, the initial partners of Business Chat will be the LivePerson, Salesforce, Nuance, and Genesys. The basic purpose is to eliminate the voice interactions when it comes to customer sales and services. The conversations will be fully encrypted which will enable companies to include real business processes. This will help change the way consumers engage with businesses.
