Bill Gates is famous for reading 50 books a year and former US president Barack Obama tweeted few years back about this new hobby of picking a book and finishing it. These both gentleman have one thing in common, they love to ‘read‘.

That amazing book is “Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City,” written by Matthew Desmond, a professor of sociology at Princeton University.

Evicted’ helped me understand one piece of that very complex question, and it made me want to learn more about the systemic problems that make housing unaffordable, as well as the various government programs designed to help – Bill Gates

On his Facebook, President Obama mentioned Evicted as one of the books he enjoyed reading the most in 2017.
