WhatsApp is down, widespread outage

There is a panic across Europe and Asia as WhatsApp is not working for last couple of hours. More than 1 billion use WhatsApp daily for sending messages, free calls and it seems that service is out of action in major parts of Europe and Asia.

It not currently not known how bad the outage is, what exactly has happened to the app but it is definitely widespread.

People are reverting to normal text messages, Facebook messenger to communicate.
