Pakistan Is Rated As ‘Best Country for Infrastructure Development in South Asia’

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the USA, Mr Jalil Abbas Jilani received the Country Award for ‘Best Country for Infrastructure Development in South Asia‘ by the Emerging Markets on behalf of Minister for planning, development and reforms Mr Ahsan Iqbal.

On Saturday, in a ceremony which took place in Washington, DC, the award was given to the Ambassador.

Pakistan is recognized for this award because of its huge efforts in the sector of infrastructure development.

Mr. Jilani thanked the ‘Emerging Markets‘, a publication of the IMF/World Bank Annual Meeting 2016 for their recognition of Pakistan’s hard efforts in the IMF World bank annual meeting, says a press release of Pakistan’s embassy.

He also told the audience about Pakistan’s Government – People focused development policies which is destined to create new opportunities in the region.

The program is headed by Ahsan Iqbal who is Minister for planning, development and reforms.
