News has been making rounds that Apple might significantly increase iPhone 12 prices. a twitter account reveals a complete breakdown of prices for each iPhone 12 model. Here is what we know so far.
- iPhone 12 mini (5.4-inch) – 64GB ($649), 128GB ($699), 256GB ($799)
- iPhone 12 (6.1-inch) – 64GB ($749), 128GB ($799), 256GB ($899)
- iPhone 12 Pro (6.1-inch) – 128GB ($999), 256GB ($1099), 512GB ($1299)
- iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7-inch) – 128GB ($1099), 256GB ($1199), 512GB ($1399)
There are some interesting insights. To begin with, iPhone 12 mini will be very affordable and cheaper than iPhone 11. The new phones will add expensive 5G modems. The new iPhone prices are going to shakeup the smartphone industry on price fronts.
To many, the pricing might just be too good but they come with a compromise. Earpods and wall charter from the box is removed and also the phones are rumored to have reduced battery capacities and low refresh rate displays.
