WhatsApp now lets you change your existing WhatsApp phone number to a new one and also notify all your friends whom you regularly chat with or have chated in past, or a new custom list. The new number will also be notified in all groups you have joined.
Changing a phone number is easy. In a video posted on the official WhatsApp YouTube channel. The process is clearly explained and it takes around a couple of minutes to set up the existing account with a new phone number.
Before you change your phone number, take a backup of your account and confirm you’re able to receive SMS or phone calls on your new phone number.
