Huawei users will not get Google apps and future OS updates.
Huawei, a Chinese multinational company was in hot waters since last few days after following the Trump administration’s de facto ban. It seems like, things are getting worse. Reuters sources have claimed, Google has suspended transactions with Huawei.
Huawei “immediately” has lost all access to future OS updates beyond the Android Open Source Project The future phones would have to go without official apps like the Google Play Store and Gmail.
Trump administration has added Huawei in their trade blacklist, making it not possible to do business with US-based companies in the US. Google is a US based company with many companies in the world using its open-source Android software.
