Google Drive will be able to automatically back up your hard drive

Google Drive is the most commonly used cloud based storage service for uploading important files, images and videos. From June 28th, Google Drive will let you take complete backup of your folders from your hard drive.

The users will have to download the Backup and Sync tool for Mac/PC. Taking backup is tipped to be very easy, just choose the folders on your desktop your want to be backed-up and access them with the Drive. We are not sure if there would be any search button to search for the files but that certainly would be very handy.

Current Drive’s backup plan is Free for 15GB of space. For more space i.e 1TB, the price is $100 a year. Google will have to come up with better pricing as their competitors are offering higher storage backups for very nominal price.
