Bill Gates writes letter to PM Imran Khan, shows interest to invest in Pakistan

Microsoft co-founder, world’s second richest man Bill Gates, has written a letter to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan. In his letter, Gates has shown his interest in investing in the Information Technology Sector and Health sector of Pakistan.

In the letter, Gates stated that his company Gates and Melinda foundation wants to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan’s IT Sector. Bill Gates foundation President Chris Elias called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday and handed over the letter to him. World Health Organization (WHO) Chief GD Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus was also present at the occasion.

Bill Gates also stated that he appreciates Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan over polio eradication efforts.

Imran khan and Bill Gates had also spoken on phone in early December and Gates showed his keenness to work together in future.

In December, Imran Khan invited Bill Gates to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan.
