Ali Baba officials are coming to Pakistan for investment

Unless anybody is living under a rock, people are likely aware of the Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba. The Chinese market is well dominated by Alibaba and has created a revolution in the global economy and global trade. This company is committed to making it easy to do business anywhere and empower global SMEs.

Recently, Alibaba Company has decided to provide new business infrastructures for the people living in Pakistan. This is the reason; the company has planned a visit with company’s officials. Although this isn’t the first time Chinese officials are visiting Pakistan, this is the second time in just two months. According to confirmed sources, Mr. Michael Evans who is the President and Director of Alibaba will be leading the delegation. He is responsible for Alibaba group’s international growth strategy in globalizing outside the country.

The delegation is expected to meet the Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, the commerce Minister Mr. Khurram Dastagir Khan, the Minister for IT and Telecom Ms. Anusha Rehman as well as other important designates in Pakistan. The first held session of the Alibaba’s officials with Pakistani Ministers would include discussion regarding finances, investment, as well as other monetary issues. The delegation, later on, is expected to meet with the IT Minister for discussing other matters regarding the company’s plans for Pakistan. Sources report that Alibaba Company plans to invest around $400 million in various segments of the country but these plans will be confirmed once the officials meet with the Pakistani Ministers.
