Bill Gates, the world’s largest philanthropist does not need any introduction. From the career at Microsoft to the new role of Philanthropy, Gates has proved his metal of being highly successful in both walks of life.
Living on certain life principles and providing solutions to the humanity, following are the four key lessons we can learn from Bill Gates that define success.
Lesson # 1 – Love for Sharing Knowledge
Bill Gates has written two books, “The Road Ahead” and “Business at the speed of thought”. Both books share valuable knowledge to everyone specially the young business owners who are struggling in their life. He also has predicted the tech future in his book “Business at the speed of thought” which stands absolutely true today in 2017. The Lesson we learn here is, share your knowledge. We grow by sharing our knowledge to everyone.
Knowledge is power. When we transform our knowledge to others, we empower them and it comes back to us in mysterious ways we could have never imagined. We grow!
Lesson # 2 – Be Generous, help the under privileged
In his visit to Africa in 1997, Gates went to a Tuberculosis clinic. It was there when he decided to take up philanthropy to help the poor and bring them out of poverty, work for removal of fatal diseases. That tour laid the foundation of The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Bill Gates has invested over 28 billion dollars to focus on health, education & economic development in the developing countries.
In 2006, Gates stepped down from a full time position at Microsoft to take up this challenge and work for under privileged, removal of fatal diseases in the developing countries.
The lesson here is, if God has given you power and wealth, work for others and play your part as super human being in pulling them out of situations of misery and helplessness and bring happiness, prosperity in their lives.

You have got to love the man who has been consistently retaining the top spot as the richest man on the planet earth and still has goals to look forward to. Some of his goals are unbelievable. His hope of removing four diseases by 2030 is praiseworthy.
That statement comes from a man who once said three decades back, every home would have a personal computer. We believe the possibility of his bold dreams and his efforts to remove these four diseases in the future.
The lesson here is, dream big and work hard in making your dreams come true.
