Today, almost every marketer understands the importance of story as a way to sell just about anything. But, still, there are few people, who have understood the right way to use story and narrative as a way to guide clients on the perfect journey. This is because perfect using story as a way to sell the product requires skill, hard work, and patience.

Your core story works to help cement your brand in the mind of your ideal client. It is because a story can carry the entire sale of your product. It makes your clients walk through the journey and the way you have achieved the results. A story makes you walk them through the worst parts of your journey and then how you come up with the product in the end. You can use them in marketing in different ways. For example, if you want to sell a pen which costs around $1-$5 in actual but you want to sell it for $100. What will be the strategies that you will adapt to sell it at your desired price? You can easily sell it at its original price if you just sell it as a pen that is made of silver and has sleek writing.

But, by creating a story with that pen you can sell it for the price you want it to be sold and if your work hard, it can be sold for a higher price. If you simply print an athlete’s autograph who is very well known in the world of sports, you will able to sell your pen at your desired price.

This is the framework you can use for all kind of business such as if you own a boutique or just starting your T-shirt designing business. With this technique, you can sell your product at a higher price than the actual price. Also, if you want to sell a men suit, you will have to understand that there are millions of people trying to do the same thing out in the market. This gives the client a lot of opportunities to explore and look for the suits that they can get. You need to understand that as a marketer, you are not the center of the universe and for making people attracted towards what you are offering, you have to make an effort. But you need to be careful that a story does not mean lying to your clients for selling your product. You can create a story by picking up even the smallest event that is attached to the creation of your product. Then develop suspense, foster aspiration, drive empathy, and harness the emotions of care about your clients.
