There is something wrong with our schools. Here is why it needs innovation

What if our schools start helping kids in identifying their hidden talent. Start helping them in polishing those skills from a very young age for the next few years.

This could let them not only foresee their future but also make them instrumental in society in the future.

Our education system is producing nothing but employees. The system has failed to produce future innovators, leaders. Only a certain number of bright students pass with the flying colours but then that is not even a guarantee of their successful practice life.

Now, that does not mean remove the education or close the educational institutes. No, I’ve never said that and I’m not stupid enough to say this and I won’t ever buy that narrative as it is often floated on internet.

What I mean is, fix the current education system, modify it according to the modern times and don’t burry a child’s talent in their young age.

Let them explore themselves rather than forcing every kid to follow the same bogus syllabus. There should be choice for students to select the subjects they are more interested in. A student who is 12 or 13 years old and is in grade 7 or 8th, is in a position to identify what skill/field excites them. Those who want to pursue their career in medicine should be allowed to pick medical subjects and same for Engineering, History, Computers or any other respective field. It does not make any sense for students to study Physics or Chemistry as a compulsory subject if they have no interest in them at all.

Luckiest are those whose profession is their hobby. Such people are better destined to become successful in life because of the training of a certain skill at a very young age.

I would love to know your thoughts in the comments section.
