For the academic year 2024–2025 the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced scholarships for students from Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) to enroll in the University of Politehnica to pursue master’s and doctoral degrees. The disciplines of engineering and information technology are the primary subjects of this government-sponsored initiative from Romania.
Chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy engineering, electronic engineering, telecommunication and information technology, aerospace engineering, transportation engineering, computer & information technology, system engineering, industrial engineering, applied engineering science, and engineering and management are among the disciplines offered by the University of Politehnica Bucharest in Romania.

Requirements:
- Applicants for the Master’s program must be under 35 years old and have completed a Bachelor’s degree within the last 16 years.
- In order to be eligible for the PhD/Doctoral program applicants must be under 40 years old and have a Master’s degree (MS/MPhil of 17/18 years).
- It is necessary for applicants to submit a legitimate HAT test result.
- HEC retains the authority to change the requirements for nominations.
Application Process:
Students who are interested in receiving scholarships are encouraged to submit their applications online at https://scholarship.hec.gov.pk, the HEC scholarship portal. The “University of Politehnica Scholarship” option should be chosen by applicants after they have registered and finished creating their profile.
The online application should be submitted at https://apply.upb.ro/, the website of the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest.

Deadline:
May 3, 2024 is the deadline for submitting the online application through the HEC site.
