‘Game of Thrones’ Script Leaked as HBO’s Computer Networks is Hacked

Breaking: Entertainment Weekly just reported that Hackers have broken into the networks of HBO and have leaked the unreleased episodes of various shows including the next week’s “Game of Thrones” episode, perhaps the whole season 7 of “GOT”.

It is reported that about 1/5 terabytes data is obtained by the hackers.

Successful hacking is now confirmed by HBO in a statement sent to Variety.

“HBO recently experienced a cyber incident, which resulted in the compromise of proprietary information,” the networks said.

“We immediately began investigating the incident and are working with law enforcement and outside cyber-security firms. Data protection is a top priority at HBO, and we take seriously our responsibility to protect the data we hold.”

It is also reported that the hackers have already leaked unreleased episodes of “Ballers”, “Room 104.”

“The problem before us is unfortunately all too familiar in the world we now find ourselves a part of,” he wrote. “As has been the case with any challenge we have ever faced, I have absolutely no doubt that we will navigate our way through this successfully.” Richard Plepler – HBO chairman and CEO

Who is behind this massive attack is still n-known.
