Facebook now lets you know if you account was compromised in recent 30 million users breach

Last week, If you got logged out of Facebook multiple times, you need to worry right away because your account may have been compromised. It was later revealed by Facebook that Two-factor authentication on accounts was mis used and the accounts were possibly accessed by the hackers.

It was recommended to change your accounts passwords immediately but there is lot more to it.

How to check if my account was compromised?

1. Visit this Facebook Help center link while logged in: https://www.facebook.com/help/securitynotice?ref=sec.
2. Scroll down to the section “Is my Facebook account impacted by this security issue?”
3. Here you’ll see a Yes or No answer to whether your account was one of the 30 million users impacted.

What should you do if you were hacked?
