Facebook introduces a new payment system for WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook

Facebook has recently launched “Facebook Pay” to facilitate its users with a convenient, secure and regular payment experience. The service works across Facebook and all Facebook-owned apps such as Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

Before you think it is related to Libra. This project is completely separate from the Libra crypto project but it surely comes a week after many potential payment partners dropped out of Libra.
