6 Inspirational movies to stay motivated

When we watch movies, we relate to the characters in one way or another. It is because they make us laugh, they make us cry, and even make us cheer. Despite all the adversities and difficulties, we see these characters taking on extraordinary goals. This gives us the inspiration and arouses the feeling of doing something in our own life.

Movies are often used as inspiration and following is the list of few of them that can help to change our lives.

Rocky:

This was a great inspirational movie released on December 3, 1976. It was a story of an illiterate Italian American child who was born poor but was very kind-hearted. The main character of the movie showed that you have the power to achieve your goals in life once you set your mind to it. The character of Rocky was played beautifully by Sylvester Stallone and the film gained immense appreciation. He later on did many Rocky series and even played a come back boxer role in Rocky Balboa.

Braveheart:

Braveheart was nominated for ten academy awards and won five of them. It was a movie about a 13th-century Scottish warrior and was released on May 24, 1995. This was the movie that encourages you to stand for what you want and fight or it. The main character was played by Mel Gibson and he fought for the freedom of his country.

Shawshank Redemption:

This movie is about a banker who was sentenced to life for the murder of his wife and her lover. It was released on September 23, 1994. This is one of the most motivational movies of all times in which a man against all odds, never compromised his character when he was in prison.

The Lion King:

This is the favorite animation movie of all times and was released on June 15, 1994. The perfect voices for the characters in the movie and the great music along with comedy made it a perfect film to watch. It is influential for the youth and teaches that struggle and great effort is the true path to attain power.

Selena:

This biographical musical drama was released on March 21, 1997. This is about a girl who was born in Texas. She was a well-known Mexican American recording artist who got murdered by the president of her fan club at the age of 23. This film is based on the fact that the education of women can change the world with her talents.

Malcolm X:

This film is about the Afro-American activist Malcolm X who represented himself for black Americans it is an education and awareness about the civil rights from his perspectives and beliefs. This movie had a great impact on the culture and teaches a lot about the black American struggles.
