Starlink Satellite Broadband is Now Officially Registered in Pakistan: A New Era of Fast Internet

Starlink Satellite Broadband is Now Officially Registered in Pakistan

Exciting developments are taking place in Pakistan’s IT and Telecommunications sector! In a recent meeting, Syed Aminul Haq, the Federal Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunication, and Ryan Goodnight, who holds the position of Director of Global Licensing and Market Activation at SpaceX, discussed the registration of Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite internet service, in Pakistan. This meeting was focused on exploring how Starlink’s satellite internet services, which are both fast and cheap, could make broadband services affordable in every part of Pakistan.

The Minister is optimistic that Starlink’s services could significantly reduce the operational costs of telecom operators, even in remote areas where it would be cost-effective to activate inactive mobile towers. He expressed his goal of providing broadband services to every corner of Pakistan at affordable tariffs, and believes that Starlink can help make this possible.

If this initiative succeeds, it has the potential to transform Pakistan’s telecommunications industry by offering speedy and cost-effective internet services, even in remote and hard-to-reach regions. This could be a major stride in the direction of connecting Pakistan and bridging the digital divide in the country.
