UMY University offering Scholarships for 2024–2025 to international students in Indonesia. Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) welcomes applications from students overall for undergraduate, master’s, and PhD programs with an accentuation on building Islamic trustworthiness and ethical quality alongside scholarly accomplishment for the academic session of 2024-2025.
Scholarship Coverage
Selected candidates will get a fully financed scholarship that covers living expenses each month. One year of dorm accommodations at the university, and tuition reimbursement. Monthly benefits differ according to degree level:
- 1,500,000 IDR for undergraduates
- 2,000,000 IDR for graduate students
- 2,250,000 IDR for postdoctoral scholars.
Available study fields
To support students in pursuing their interests and academic objectives, UMY provides a wide variety of academic subjects and majors across multiple faculties. Medical, Social & Political Science, Language Education, Agriculture, Engineering, Law, Islamic Studies, and Economics & Business are among the subjects covered by the undergraduate programs offered.
Programs for Masters
Master’s degrees in Management, Islamic Studies, Government Affairs & Administration, Nursing, International Relations, Hospital Management, and Law are offered by UMY to individuals pursuing postgraduate education.
Program for a PhD
To facilitate advanced study and intellectual development, the university also provides a PhD degree program with specializations in Islamic Education Psychology, Islamic Politics, and Management.
Application Requirements
A set of documentation is needed from prospective applicants, which includes:
- A copy of their passport
- A CV or resume
- Academic transcripts from prior schools
- A motivation letter
- A declaration letter
- Evidence of their medical fitness.
Furthermore, candidates need to submit their TOEFL or IELTS exam results to prove their English language competency.
