CDA Announces Six-Month Paid Internship Program

Program Launch Details

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) declared a six-month paid internship program for recent graduates, set to start in June 2024. This drive expects to give young graduates down-to-earth insight and an expert professional start in different fields.

Internship Benefits

Selected applicants will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 40,000 during their six-month internship in one of the CDA’s divisions.

Eligibility Criteria

A four-year bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, management, marketing, or business administration is required of candidates. It should be from a government-approved university within the last three years. Those awaiting results are not eligible.

Application Process

  • Submission: Only electronic applications will be accepted. Forms can be accessed and submitted at CDA Internship Application. Incomplete or in-person submissions will be rejected.
  • Deadline: Within fifteen days from the date of publication of the advertisement, online applications must be filed. There will be no TA/DA given.

Selection Process

Candidates with strong academic records will be shortlisted for interviews, with marks from SSC, HSSC, and bachelor’s degrees weighted accordingly. Interviewee identities and detailed guidelines will be posted on the CDA website.

Program Conditions

  • Authority of the CDA: The CDA holds the option to decide the number of interns, their position, tasks, and end of internships.
  • Termination of Internship: Interns might end their internship with a 15-day notice, but they can not keep their completion certificate.
  • Previous Interns: Students who completed previous internships are ineligible for this program.
  • Employment Rights: The internship is not a job offer and does not lead to employment or regularization rights.
  • Compensation: Interns will receive lump-sum compensation and must adhere to CDA’s confidentiality and disciplinary rules.
