Google is making sure Android apps let you delete your data and account

For implementing another measure towards data safety on the Play Store Google is making sure that Android apps let you delete your data.  Google has announced that users will be able to delete their accounts and data and app developers must provide a data deletion option on Google Play. And this account and data deletion option should be available either within the app or outside of itokok via the web also.

Developers must have to implement these data safety changes by May 31, 2024. By providing the option to delete accounts or data via the web so google also ensures that data deletion is not just limited to users who still have the app installed on their phones. Play Store data deletion feature is going to be useful for those users as well who have uninstalled the app from their phones and no longer use it

By December 7, App developers need to submit new data deletion questions:

On the app’s play store listing page app developers are required to put in a data deletion request form.

In the official blog post, google also said that put the data deletion information in the more important area on the app google play store. Inside the app’s data safety section, there will be a new badge for data deletion information.

google is asking developers to submit new data deletion questions in their app’s data safety form by 7 December. So google play users will begin to see the changes in their app’s store listing which include the new data deletion badge in the coming next year.
