WhatsApp is rolling out a new call menu feature to enhance the calling experience for its users. Currently available to select Android beta testers via the Google Play Store, this update simplifies call initiation in individual and group chats.

The update adds a single call button to chat windows in place of the previous separate voice and video call buttons. Users can select between a voice call and a video call by touching the icon, which shows a voice call symbol. The menu also offers a shortcut for creating and sharing a call link to make it simpler to ask others to attend on WhatsApp.
The upgrade provides greater flexibility for group chats by enabling users to call individual members rather than the entire group. This improvement makes group calls more efficient and customizable.
