A streamlined process has been implemented by the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation(MOHRE) for companies wishing to hire foreign personnel. Only the employer has the authority to start this expedited procedure, which is applicable to labor that is both skilled and unskilled.
The ministry recently announced on social media that there are four essential measures to get a new work permit.
Employers must first apply through appropriate means, upload all required paperwork, and log in using UAE Pass or their online ID. The application is electronically accepted and sent to the Ministry upon completion of the submission. Applications that are not complete will receive a message asking for any missing information or adjustments.

After approval, companies must submit a signed employment offer letter, establish insurance or a bank guarantee, and pay government costs.
Skilled Worker Requirements
The Ministry of Higher Education will evaluate educational qualifications for skilled employment on behalf of the ministry; verification usually takes two weeks. A copy of a valid passport, a colored photo of oneself, and, if relevant, an authenticated educational certificate are required papers.
Jobs are divided into nine skill levels by the MOHRE. For skill levels 1 through 5, educational certification is required. Furthermore, regardless of credentials, an employee must make at least AED 4,000 per month in order to be considered skilled labor. A professional license from the appropriate UAE government is necessary for several occupations, including those in healthcare, education, sports training, and law.
Additionally, candidates from Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iraq require a legitimate national ID card with two sides clearly visible.
Qualifications & Requirements for Approval
Employers must have a current electronic quota, a valid trade license free of infractions, and the legal right to sign applications for permits in order to be eligible to hire foreign workers. Employees must not have a current UAE work permit and be at least eighteen years old.
Under certain circumstances, such as an alteration in the worker’s nationality, a permit may be replaced within six months after issuance as long as the job title and gender stay the same. The Federal Authority for The concept of identity, Citizenship, Immigration & Port Security must be contacted in order to rescind the first admission authorization.
According to MOHRE, the revised procedure is a component of continuous initiatives to enhance openness, expedite the hiring procedure, and guarantee complete legal compliance in the UAE labor market.
