Samsung Galaxy S8, first major flagship with 8G of RAM

The rumors about Samsung Galaxy S8 to be the first flagship for featuring 8GB of RAM seem to gaining a lot of attention now. Combination of both will convert the S8 into high performance mode when users want it.

It is likely to be launched in two variants including an octa-core Snapdragon 835 and other with an anonymous Exynos chipset. The first one is subjected to key markets like North America and the latter will be for dual-sim regions such as India. Production of both chipsets will be based on 10mm architecture which will help in aggregating the efficiency without negotiating on the performance.

This beast mode will turn the phone into an extremely powerful handset with faster UFS 2.1 flash memory and 8GB RAM number. S8 will not only feature more RAM than the standard laptops but it will also present a 4K display, improved camera, and a battery combo. S8 is also rumored to be replacing its home button for repositioning the fingerprint scanner to the back panel. The company is expected to reveal Galaxy S8 along with a larger Galaxy S8 Plus in 2017 either in Feburary at MWC or in April at a New York event.
