You’ll be able to add a title and more context. This helps bring attention to comments that might otherwise get lost in long threads.
Reddit puts it like this:
“The comment section is where you find some of the best stuff on Reddit, but sometimes your (objectively great) comments can get buried. Now there’s a new way to spotlight and re-engage with past conversations.”
Not every subreddit will allow this feature, though. Each community has the option to turn off shared comments as posts.

Reddit has also launched comment analytics. You can now tap the “Insights” tab under your comment to see how people are reacting. Here’s what you’ll find:
- Upvotes – Total number of upvotes
- Upvote Ratio – Upvotes vs. downvotes
- Replies – How many responses did your comment receive
- Views – How many times your comment was seen, including where the views came from
- Shares – How many times your comment has been shared
- Awards – Number of Reddit awards received
While these metrics might not carry the same weight as engagement stats on other platforms, they still give Redditors a solid snapshot of how their comments land in a thread.
More Helpful Updates
Reddit is also making it easier to manage your replies. If you start typing a comment and leave the page, Reddit will now save your draft automatically. No more losing thoughtful replies to a refresh or mistake.
And for desktop users, Reddit is now letting you add text with image, video, and link posts — a small change that makes posting more flexible.
