The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has offered a special one-day deal for consumers in celebration of the country’s 200 million telecom subscribers.
On June 20, 2025, 200 on-net minutes and 2 GB of free data will be given to all telecom customers, good for 24 hours. To activate the deal, dial *#2200# from any network.
Pakistan has reached a major milestone in its digital journey, surpassing 200 million mobile subscriptions nationwide.
According to the most recent PTA data, 80.30 percent of the nation’s population now has access to mobile services, with over 197.7 million mobile phone subscribers. There are currently 150 million broadband subscribers and 3.75 million fixed-line phone users.
A special event is being planned at the PTA Headquarters in Islamabad to honor the accomplishment. Senior officials, mobile device manufacturers (MDMs), and mobile network operators (MNOs) are among the important telecom sector participants that will be present at the event. Future plans to increase digital services in Pakistan and advancements in connection will be the main topics of discussion.
PTA and its partners are implementing a number of public-focused projects as part of the festivities. On the day of the event, mobile network providers will provide subscribers around the country with complimentary voice and internet bundles.
Manufacturers of mobile devices have also been asked to assist the project by donating 10 to 15 mid-range cellphones, which will be given away to participants in a lucky draw.
