A significant portion of Meta’s income model is derived from its targeted advertising business, which is mostly powered by user data. Users ought to exercise caution when deciding what information to disclose.

Discover Feed Adds Social Aspect to Meta AI Experience

The app also features a Discover feed, where users can share how they’re using Meta AI with their friends. For example, a user could ask Meta AI to describe them in three emojis and then share that with their friends.

Interactions with Meta AI will only be shared on the feed if users opt in. This could encourage viral trends, similar to the recent Barbie doll or Studio Ghibli character transformation craze. However, it’s worth noting that not all apps need a social feed looking at you, Venmo.
