Instagram now works offline as well

The free photo app that makes your iPhone and iPad look its best without much work, Instagram has added an offline support for its Android app. this will help its users to browse and create posts even when the internet connection isn’t available.

For the users, any posts that have been downloaded on their phone while connected to the internet will be available to view, like, save, or comment on. They can not only save drafts but can also create posts. The actions will be beamed to the app’s servers once the user’s get connected to the WiFi again.

This support will also help users to view the content that had been uploaded by them previously. This will include even the visited profiles before as well as the posts in the Explore tab. This online feature by Instagram will be very much supportive for users who are living in countries where there, not much reliable internet connection.

The more interesting thing would be if Instagram extends this offline support for its Stories section as well. More than 600 million users actually use the platform whereas the ephemeral messaging feature is being used by a number of people which is a number way more than SnapChat.
