Application Deadline
Last Date To Apply: 9th August 2025
The Ministry of Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony has set the application period for 4th August 2025 to 9th August 2025. That’s only six days to submit your application and because it’s first come, first served, applying early can make all the difference.
One important detail:
This first phase is only for applicants already registered with the Ministry. If you’re on that list, you’re eligible to apply right away.

Two Package Options Long or Short
The Government’s Regular Hajj Scheme is offering two choices for 2026:

Long Hajj Package Estimated total cost: Rs. 1,150,000 to Rs. 1,250,000

First installment: Rs. 500,000

Short Hajj Package Same estimated total cost

First installment: Rs. 550,000
-
The rest of the payment can be made in installments, which will be a relief for many families who have been saving for years.
How to Apply
You have two simple ways to submit your application:

In person at any designated bank branch
Whichever you choose, double check every detail before submitting. A small mistake can delay your approval.
Good News for Overseas Pakistanis
Even if you’re living abroad, you can still apply under the Regular Government Hajj Scheme.
However, note that the Sponsorship Scheme will not be available for Hajj 2026 so overseas applicants will follow the same process as everyone else.

Before you even think about filling out the form, gather these essentials:

Recent passport-size photographs (follow the official size & background rules)

Valid CNIC/NICOP/SNIC issued by NADRA

International Machine Readable Pakistani Passport (valid until at least 26th October 2026)

A bank account in your own name

And a note for parents: Children under 12 won’t be allowed to perform Hajj this year
