TikTok Introduces ‘TikTok Go’ for Hotel Bookings

TikTok has introduced a new feature that connects creators with hotels through an easy-to-use affiliate system. The program, called TikTok Go, lets creators tag a hotel in their videos and earn a commission when viewers book through their content.

Right now, the focus is on hotel stays. Creators can add a location tag and a special TikTok Go label when sharing videos from a trip—whether it’s for work, a weekend getaway, or just a local stay. If someone books a stay through that post, the creator gets paid.

Creator @Amaya summed it up:

“You earn commission by posting from hotels you stay at. Just tag it right, and you’ll get paid.”

The feature is found under the Monetization section in TikTok creator accounts, in select regions. Once inside TikTok Go, users can browse a list of hotels along with details on how much each booking pays. Creators can then post directly from this listing, with the right tags and booking info already added.

Posts will show location details and a clear note that the creator is earning a commission, keeping things transparent for viewers.

For hotels, it’s a low-cost way to work with creators, especially since fans can book the same stay right through the app. It could also cut down on awkward “free stay” requests, giving businesses a straightforward way to work with influencers.

TikTok says hotels are just the start. The platform plans to expand TikTok Go into other areas like food, wellness, education, and more travel experiences.

The program is currently available to creators in Indonesia, Japan, and the United States, with more regions expected soon.
