A huge privacy bug has been discovered in Apple’s FaceTime and has taken social media by storm. The unique bug lets you call anyone with FaceTime, and immediately hear the audio coming from their phone, yes even before the person you are calling accepts or rejects the incoming call.
Although, Apple says the will resolve this issue in next software update but the issue is serious, it compromises users privacy and this is not all, the worst part is, sometimes the bug turns the camera on, even without picking up the phone.
Here’s how to do the iPhone FaceTime bug:
- Start a FaceTime Video call with your iPhone contact.
- While the call is in process, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and tap Add Person.
- Add your own phone number in the Add Person screen.
- You will then start a group FaceTime call including yourself and the audio of the person you originally called, even if the other person has not accepted the call yet.
