Many people react to difficult events that change their lives, with a flood of strong emotions and a sense of uncertainty. Yet people adapt well to life-changing situations and stressful conditions. The power that enables them to do so is called resilience. It is an ongoing process that requires time, effort, and engages people in a number of steps.

Keep your eyes on the goal:
