I believe we are all over thinkers at some point in our life but we may not be aware of it. But overthinking makes you think about anything and everything. You over analyze every detail and it makes the mind paralyze and you make the simple things as complex, the easy as hard, and the painless as painful. It makes you worry too much about everything and even if you want to change, the process scares you.

Conversation with yourself:
Mostly you don’t pay attention to the conversation that you do with yourself each day. It is because as an over thinker you get involved in negative self-talk. You criticize yourself for your work, the decisions you make, and the actions that you do. This brings a lot of negative impact on your mental and physical health. Instead, if you change the negative comments into a more positive statement, you will strengthen yourself for the future.
By talking to yourself, you begin to get into a depth of topic and come up with a rational reasoning that could be pivotal for your actions.
Pay attention to the bigger picture:
As an over thinker, you pay a lot of attention to the small details. It makes you frustrated and angry for not being able to get out of a situation. It is better if you look at the bigger perspective of whatever situation you are dealing with. It will make you notice the big changes that require your attention rather than the smaller ones.

Most over thinkers just think and it makes them stuck in their tracks. Over thinking makes you think a lot but unable to take an action and increases worrying. Therefore, start working on solving the problem as soon as you find any possible way towards a resolution.
Embrace the unknown:
As an over thinker, you are prone to worrying about the things that are yet to come. No matter what challenges you are faced with, try to be happy with the process. Prepare yourself for what has yet to come but don’t worry about it. Future is unpredictable and there is not much you can do to change it.
One of the biggest reason of worrying is the fear of unknown. One can only over come the fear by stepping up and be open to face it. Facing the fear is the only way to get over it.
Share with friends and family:
You tend to worry more when you are thinking about your problems on your own and don’t share with other people. Sharing your thoughts with people you trust can make you less stressed. This support system will prove beneficial for providing you with ideas for solving your problems which you may not think about yourself.
Pay attention to your words:
Make a list of the words that you use for talking to yourself. You will see that almost 90% of the statements and words you use are negative and bring a bad impact on your overall wellbeing. Adjust your statements and bring your life in a balance by being kind to your own self.
