Two Indian Brothers on a Mission to Make Wind Energy Cheaper

Two brothers from India, Arun and Anoop George, are proud of their creation. A small wind turbine priced at an affordable cost of around $750 USD that measures the size of a ceiling fan and can generate three to five kilowatt hours of electricity daily. This power is more than enough to light an average sized home.

Brothers say, they plan to introduce the wind turbine to the market for a little more than $750 USD to cover all costs and making it affordable for everyone in big, small cities all across India. If this idea is accepted country wide, the plan is to go international too and considering the only option right now is importing such equipment which typically costs around US$3,000, this innovation could better serve every house hold as this is highly affordable.
