whatsapp

Ever sent a message on WhatsApp and regretted afterwards because there is no ability to delete that message in the App?. You than also went on to Google and searched for “how to delete WhatsApp messages” but sadly there is no help because the feature was never introduced by the company at first place. Well, there is some good news here.

WhatsApp has finally followed the footsteps of other messaging platforms such as WeChat, Viber, and Telegram by introducing a new feature named as Delete for Everyone, WABetaInfo leaked.

With the help of this feature, users will be able to delete the messages that they have sent by mistake. These messages will be deleted even before they are checked by the user’s contacts. This feature is being tested on iOS as well as Android devices and the reports state that the service is working successfully and messages are being deleted before being seen by the receipent.

This feature has not been made available to everyone; therefore, the most of the users are still unable to access the service.

According to reports, with the help of this feature, on iOS and Android devices texts will disappear from the notification center.

This feature made was introduced in an August beta version of the app for Windows phone so there is no doubt that it will make its way to iOS and Android soon.

Right now, there is no way of scrapping a message once it has been delivered to the recipient’s phone so it is strictly recommended to actually think before typing and hitting the send icon. We expect the feature to officially rollout to all iOS/Android users shortly.
