Amazon wants to create its own messaging app called Anytime

Anytime is a messaging app that is expected to be launched by Amazon, reported by AFTV News. This is the messaging app Amazon has been working on for quite some time now. The retail giant has reportedly started to survey its customers for potential features of the new app.

The Anytime messaging app is expected to be a rich service containing all the features its rival social networks already have. The new service is aimed to be focusing on messaging, voice and video calls, photo sharing, application of filters to photos and videos.

This app will also allow users to use stickers and Gifs, and play games. The users’ will be given the ability to make calls to other individuals as well as groups, contact businesses to order products and even make reservations. The service is going to be secured and encrypted and would work with numerous desktop and mobile devices.

Recently, Amazon has been seen focusing on the messaging and communications market. Just recently, it announced a video conferencing app for its business users named as Chime. This was designed to compete with Skype for business. And now, the messaging app “Anytime” seems to be a more improved product by Amazon aiming to be competing with Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp.
